These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PageRemarks, a browser extension and accompanying website that allows users to add and read comments on web pages. By creating an account or using PageRemarks, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

2. Your Account

You must create an account to use PageRemarks. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide a valid email address and you must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

• Post content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, or hateful toward any person or group

You retain ownership of the comments and content you post through PageRemarks. By posting content, you grant PageRemarks a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content as part of the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse or verify user-submitted content.

5. Free Pages and Limits

PageRemarks offers a limited number of free pages per account. We may change these limits at any time. We may introduce paid tiers in the future; any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using PageRemarks, you agree to our data practices as described there.

7. Disclaimers

PageRemarks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the content posted by users.

PageRemarks comments appear as a layer on top of third-party websites. We have no affiliation with, and take no responsibility for, the content of those websites.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PageRemarks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of PageRemarks after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
